Shaz is a chartered accountant, successful local businessman and city councillor. He has been actively involved in community work for many years. At work, he spends most of his time helping businesses scale up. Alongside this, he has a particular interest in property tax. At home, he spends most of his time as the taxi driver of choice – transporting his children. On odd occasions, he might get a day off which he likes to spend with his family.

Why you joined the board of trustees

Shaz was born and raised in the area. He went to the local school, The Beeches School so has a connection with the area. He wants to give back and help as best as he can.

What do you hope to achieve as part of the team?

To help improve the lives of as many families as he can.
